These boots are made for... well, everything.

I love my John Deere boots. Today, Mom let me wear them all over, and I had so much fun!One of my new tricks is climbing. When I get to the top of, say, the couch or the trunk in the front hall, I yell until someone comes to look at me. I don't really understand why my mom always has a scared look on her face when she finds me. A new thing I learned is whenever I do something I think is impressive, I put up my arms and say, "ta-da!" and everybody laughs. These people are soooo easy.
The thing I struggle with is getting down. Thanks for the help, Mom. You just keep taking pictures, and I'll just fall down and break my leg. Good parenting.

Sometimes I just get sick of my mom following me around with a camera, so I go in my egg and pull down the shade. My mom still laughs at me, though, because I don't pull my legs up so just my little pink boots stick out the bottom.

This was when I got attacked by my water car. Again, thanks for the help, Mom.

What I've been up to

So, I've been so busy lately, it would be impossible for me to tell you everything. I'll just give you the highlights.I've found lately that I like to sit in the chair by myself and read. If anyone tries to sit with me I yell and run away. Sometimes a girl just wants to read!
So, remember when I thought I hated water? I was so wrong! Turns out water shoots out of my yard every other day, and I like nothing more than to run right up to the sprinklers and jump on 'em!
Mom and Dad and I play in the yard whenever we can (although they won't let me when the sprinklers are on. Pansies).
My mom thinks it's funny when I try to chase her up the hill and fall down and have to crawl. I don't even think it's fair! I mean, who runs up a hill in plastic Crocs? Jerk!

Mom's last project

My mom goes back to work tomorrow, and she is pretty sad about that. We were going to spend all week this week having fun, but she hurt her back pretty bad, so I've been going to daycare. Yesterday, she figured out that she could sit in her sewing chair with an ice pack and be pretty comfortable, so she made me this dress. I love it!
Here I am sitting in the grass with a banana pepper I picked out of the garden, which she let me chew on. Now that's what I call good parenting.
Now, I might be partial, but I think this looks pretty good on me!
I hate getting stuff on my feet, and no one would help me get it off. Jerks.
(Looks like Mom's next project should be a diaper cover. Jeez!)
Still with the banana pepper. Damn I look good!

My first Farmer's

Last weekend I went with my mom to Lake Park for my first Farmer's Appreciation Day celebration. It was great fun! My cousins Max and Luke were there and I got to play with them and my Aunt Sarah while my mom went to her ten-year class reunion (she is old). I went to a parade and I even got new John Deere boots!
This is me trying to get used to my new boots. It's hard to walk in these things!
This is my new surprised face. Every time I make it, people laugh, so I keep making it.
Here I am hanging out on the counter at Gram's house with Max and Luke. My mom let me run around on the counter, and it was fun!
This is me and my mom and an enormous peppermint at the parade. As you can tell, I was not impressed.
After that, I needed a drink, and I needed something stronger than what was in my sipper.

Bruck fam vacation

Sorry I haven't written in so long! I hid the camera cord from my mom  and she just found it today. I'm a good hider!
A few weeks ago, I went on vacation with my mom and dad to my Aunt Missy and Uncle BJ's house. We had a good time hanging out and playing in the yard. I picked flowers with my dad and gramps, and then they taught me to put them in my mouth!
